About the role:

My Code is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager, B2B marketing.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the A Code product that offers brands opportunities to reach the Asian American Pacific Islander audience. This role involves a combination of strategic thinking, B2B marketing excellence, and experience working, and deep knowledge of content and media platforms that resonate with the AAPI audience. You will collaborate with Sales, Research, PR, and publisher development partners to develop data-driven sales enablement tools and advertising solutions targeted at brands, advertising agencies, and media publishers seeking to reach the AAPI audience. You will need to partner with Research to translate insights and apply them across marketing tactics and translate complicated and/or abstract information into compelling product storytelling. You will also need to evaluate and measure product performance continuously and evolve materials, positioning, and advertising offerings to be competitive in the marketplace.

Alongside these responsibilities, you will also help evolve and/or build material that directly supports our additional platform and tech opportunities, such as CTV/OTT, audio, and programmatic. You will partner with internal team members that are knowledgeable about the platform as well as strive to broaden your education through various marketplace tools to stay up-to-date on those offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Marketing

Lead the go-to-market strategy for new advertising products, refine existing ones, establish and measure success criteria. Manage all marketing collateral for the A Code and tech products and build out proactive packages to increase demand for our advertising, content, and insights-driven products. Partner with the Research and Sales teams to inform product development and research reports (Fact Packs) with a perspective that reflects our brands and customer needs. Know the competitive landscape and become an expert in your product areas.

Positioning and Brand Strategy

Consistently apply our communications strategy, umbrella brand, and individual brand requirements in the products you will build. Leverage product feedback and insights from Research and Sales and apply them to product strategy and winning messaging. Develop an insights-driven channel strategy to inform product launches and measure conversion and lead generation.

Collaboration

Partner with colleagues in Operations, Design, Sales, Client Solutions, PR, Research, and Publisher Development to launch and optimize product messaging and offerings. Foster relationships across the organization and instill trust with these partners to ensure all projects are planned and launched flawlessly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid digital advertising product marketing and advertising solutions experience, including at least three years of data-driven B2B marketing
  • Experience driving successful go-to-market strategies for ad products and aligning product marketing and messaging to a larger brand narrative
  • Translate insights from Research and apply them to product marketing messaging, positioning, and packaging narrative
  • Experience developing written- and video-based case studies, and campaign wrap-up reports
  • Experience with product marketing lifecycle and personas development
  • Ability to think strategically about the evolution of a product in order to stay competitive in the marketplace
  • Ability to balance creative, conceptual thinking with a data-driven mindset; identify and assess success metrics
  • Excellent B2B writing and deck-building skills, translating abstract concepts into compelling product storytelling
  • A self-starter individual who can operate both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills
