vitaminwater Launches Neighborhue Campaign in Partnership with My Code to Celebrate NYC's Latine Community Through Mural Revival
Collaboration with Leading Latine Digital Media Brand Amplifies Authentic Cultural Storytelling and Community Engagement
[NEW YORK, NY, August 19, 2025] – vitaminwater today announced a strategic collaboration with My Code’s Remezcla Media Group, the most influential media brand for the Latine community, to launch "Neighborhue," a campaign that revives iconic community murals in celebration of New York City's Latine neighborhoods.
Neighborhue brings new life to city corners by teaming up with local Latine artists to revive faded murals and reflect authentic stories from community members. Each restored mural is an anthem for New York City, reflecting neighborhood pride and culture, with vitaminwater’s signature brand colors serving as inspiration and seamlessly woven into the artwork.
The campaign features three significant murals: Marissa Molina's "The Tree of Life" in Jamaica, Queens, a powerful metaphor for the city's ever-growing community; Lina Montoya's "She Rises" in Brownsville, Brooklyn, which honors the strength and resilience of BIPOC and Latine women; and Magda Love's "In Unity There Is Strength" in Brooklyn, celebrating the power of togetherness and collective voice.
“Murals are a living testament to our neighborhoods’ spirit, history, and dreams,” said Joaquin Delgado, Head of Strategy, Remezcla Media Group. “By supporting local artists as they breathe new life into these walls, we’re not just restoring color—we’re honoring the voices and stories that have always made Latine communities thrive. Partnering with vitaminwater lets us put community at the center, where both art and everyday life truly belong.”
Through this partnership, vitaminwater naturally becomes more integrated into the community, representing renewal and strength. Remezcla’s leadership in Latine media shares the same vision of authentic engagement as vitaminwater. Together, they breathe new life into murals that illustrate the enduring resilience of New Yorkers—now refreshed, bolder, and brighter.
“vitaminwater was born in New York, and we believe in supporting the neighborhoods that shape New York City’s unique spirit. We’ve loved seeing how these artists have drawn inspiration from the colors and flavors of vitaminwater, using it to revive cherished spaces and each sip as a moment of pause and reflect on the masterpiece before their eyes,” said Amanda Harkins, Brand Director at vitaminwater.
The collaboration makes use of Remezcla’s deep cultural credibility and broad reach to share genuine community stories, moving beyond traditional advertising to build authentic trust. Most importantly, it reinforces vitaminwater’s commitment to amplifying the voices of Latine neighborhoods.
The Neighborhue custom portion of the campaign will launch the week of August 18th and run through September 30th, with content featured across Remezcla’s digital platforms and social media channels, including exclusive editorial and social activations designed to engage audiences throughout New York City.
